Nice is a wonderfully vibrant riviera holiday destination and much of its appeal lies in the maze of narrow streets, markets and squares that lie behind its iconic promenade.
The Apartment
In the Centre Ville of Nice, this spacious (75 sq meters) first floor apartment is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from the Musee d'Art Moderne.The furnishings reflect the owner's eye for charm and character. For example, many of the unique light fittings having been created by a local artist. The large living room is equipped with a wide-screen TV and Hi-Fi. Glazed and shuttered doors with a wrought iron railing provide a view over the street below.
The apartment has high ceilings and is light and airy. It is also 'traversant', meaning that its dual aspect provides cross-ventilation. Cool air is drawn from the shaded street below, even on the hottest Summer days.
Light pours into this traditional kitchen that has an old farmhouse pine table and chairs. Applicances include an oven and a combined washing machine and dryer.
The Accommodation - 2 bedrooms sleep 5/6
The bedrooms have tiled floors and large shuttered windows to catch cooling summer breezes.
The main bedroom has a double bed and traditional furnishings.
The second bedroom has a single bed and space for a cot or a second child.

The large sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.
There is a separate bathroom and washroom (w/c).
The Area
This most famous of resorts on the French Riviera has so much to offer the visitor and local alike. The most colourful spectacle is undoubtedly the Nice Carnival.Location
